Camp Rankor and the Southern Shiverpeaks - Guild Wars Forums

I'm a lvl 19 w/mo who is now quite far into the crystal desert and progressingly relativly quickly. Yet however much I try I still can't get to camp Rankor.

So my message is to all those people who have-
How on earth do you do it?
Is there a specail secret passage, tactic or skill I should use?

Please help me on this one- thx

There is only 2 ways to get to Camp Rankor. First is from Beacon's Perch. Head south to Lornar's Pass and continue until you eventually reach Camp Rankor. This way is quite tough tho.

The other way is to Ascend, through Dragon's Lair to Droknars and from there to Talus Chute. Head northwest.

Either head south from Beacons Perch (the infamous Lornars Pass run), or continue as you are. Youll ascend, then do Dragons Lair mission, get to Droknars Forge and then walk to Camp Rankor.

it should be noted, though, that the run through lornar's takes you through dreadnought's drift and snake dance. Snake dance is easy with a group... drift is a RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing disaster.

Unless you have either 1.) an experienced runner who knows how to avoid water trident/deep freeze, or 2.) an amazing group...

I wouldn't even think about going from Beacon's Perch.

Just go through the Dragon's Lair. It's hella easier.... and you can get from droknar's forge to camp rankor with hench in like, 5 minutes.
